Quiet Houses

Zuber Construction has completed multiple works with the Archdiocese of San Antonio at St. Peter Upon the Water, a center for spiritual direction and formation. Located on an expansive Hill Country bluff in Ingram, Texas, these two cottages, called Quiet Houses, are designed as duplexes to accommodate solitary retreats focused on reflection and prayer.  Crafted with German influenced Hill Country architecture, the cottages incorporate site sensitive design with local recycled materials, rainwater harvesting and passive solar lighting and heating techniques.
